Breakfast ~ Recipes
7 Sea Street Scones
Bake at 375° for 20-22 minutes
Ingredients;
2/3 cup Butter
3-1/4 cups Flour
½ cup Granulated Sugar
2 tablespoons Baking Powder
1 tablespoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
1 cup chopped Dried Fruit (see variations below)
1 cup Morsels/Nuts (see variations below)
2 Eggs
2/3 cup Sour Cream
2 tablespoons White Vinegar
Raw Sugar
Process Butter, Flour, Granulated Sugar, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and Salt until mixture is crumbly.
Stir in Dried Fruit/Morsels/Nuts
Mix in Eggs
Mix together White Vinegar and Sour Cream, add to mixture.
Just combine all ingredients, do not over mix.
Divide mixture into two plastic-wrap lined 8-inch cake pans using addition plastic-wrap to lightly press mixture.
Flip molded mixture onto greased and floured baking sheet.
Using a well-floured Biscuit-Cutter cut each 8-inch Scone Circle into 8-16 evenly sized wedges. Sprinkle with Raw Sugar and Bake in Preheated Oven.

1 cup Chocolate Morsels ½ cup Peanut Butter Morsels ½ cup chopped Peanuts ¼ cup creamy Peanut Butter |

1 cup chopped Dried Pineapples ¾ cup White Chocolate Morsels ¼ cup shredded/sweetened Coconut
1 teaspoon Coconut Extract

Blueberry/White Chocolate
1 cup Dried Blueberries
1 cup White Chocolate Morsels
1 teaspoon Mixed Spices
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract |
Lemon/White Chocolate
1 cup White Chocolate Morsels
Ground zest from two Lemons ¼ cup Lemon Juice (omit vinegar from recipe) |

Guest House Gingerbread Cake with Lemon/Ginger Frosting
Bake at 325° for 30-35 minutes
Ingredients;
2¼ cups Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon ground Ginger
1 tablespoon ground Cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground Cloves
2 Eggs
½ cup Oil
¾ cup Boiling Water
1 cup Maple Syrup
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Molasses
Frosting;
1 cup Confectioner’s Sugar
1 teaspoon Vegetable Shortening
2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
1/8 teaspoon ground Ginger
Topping;
¼ cup chopped Crystallized Ginger
Mix together Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Salt, Ginger, Cinnamon, Cloves, Eggs, and Oil.
Boil Water and remove from heat; add Maple Syrup, Sugar, and Molasses. Stir until Sugar has dissolved.
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Pour mixture into two 8-inch cooking sprayed cake pans.
Place into preheated oven.
Frosting, whip all ingredients well. Frost cooled cake tops leaving 2 inches around the top edge unfrosted. Sprinkle with chopped Crystallized Ginger.
Nantucket Wild Blueberry Cake
Bake at 400° for 25-30 minutes
Ingredients;
2 cups Self-Rising Flour
1 cup Flour
½ teaspoon Baking Soda
½ teaspoon Salt
1 cup firmly packed Light Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1½ Mixed Spices
1/3 cup Oil
1 1/3 cups Sour Cream
1¼ cups Wild Blueberries
¼ cup Raw Sugar
Just combine Self-Rising Flour, Flour, Baking Soda, Salt, Light Brown Sugar, Egg, Vanilla Extract, Mixed Spices, Oil, and Sour Cream.
Fold in 1 cup Wild Blueberries.
Stead mixture into cooking sprayed cake or muffin pans.
Lightly press remaining Blueberries into the tops of cakes or muffins.
Sprinkle with Raw Sugar.
Bake in preheated oven.
Main House Island Banana Bread
Bake at 350° for 50-60 minutes
Ingredients;
2 cups Self Rising Flour
1 cup granulated Sugar
½ cup salted Butter
1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
1 tablespoon Coconut Extract
½ teaspoon ground Cinnamon
2 Eggs
2 tablespoons Sour Cream
2 ripe Bananas
1 cup semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
½ cup shredded sweetened Coconut
1 cup chopped Walnuts
*Cinnamon/Sugar sprinkle.
Mix together Self Rising Flour, Sugar, Butter, Vanilla X, Coconut X, Cinnamon, Eggs, Sour Cream.
Add Chocolate Chips, Coconut, Walnuts, and lightly mashed Bananas.
Do not over mix.
Spread mixture in two 8 inch greased and floured bread pans.
Sprinkle generously with Cinnamon/Sugar.
Place into preheated oven.
2 Ash Lane Apple-Blackberry Cake
Bake at 375° for 25-35 minutes
Ingredients;
2 cups Self Rising Flour
¾ cup granulated Sugar
1 box Vanilla Pudding Mix
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
½ cup unsweetened Apple Sauce
½ cup Vanilla Yogurt
1 cup Blackberries
Topping;
½ cup Flour
¼ cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
¼ cup salted Butter
*Process Topping first and set aside
Mix together Flour, Sugar, and Cinnamon.
Add Butter, with a fork process until crumbly.
Mix together Self Rising Flour, Sugar, and Pudding Mix.
Add Egg, Vanilla X, Applesauce, and Yogurt.
Dust Blackberries with flour and gently fold into mixture.
Gently spread mixture into a greased and floured Spring Pan.
Generously sprinkle with Topping.
Place into preheated oven.
Precious Puddy Almond Pear
Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes.
Ingredients;
2 ¼ cups Self Rising Flour
1 cup granulated Sugar
3 Eggs
1 teaspoon Almond Extract
¼ cup Oil
¾ cup unsweetened Applesauce
1 cup diced ripe Pears
½ cup flaked Almonds
Pre-roast flaked Almonds until slightly golden and set aside.
Mix Self Rising Flour, Sugar, Eggs, Almond X, Oil, and Applesauce.
Gently fold in Pears.
Spread mixture into a greased and floured Spring Pan.
Sprinkle generously with roasted flaked Almonds.
Place into preheated oven.
7 Seas Raisin-Apple-Walnut Bread
Bake at 325° for 30-35 minutes
Ingredients;
1½ cups Self Rising Flour
½ cup Flour
1 teaspoon ground Cinnamon
2 Eggs
¼ Oil
¼ cup Water
½ cup Brown Sugar
½ cup Raisins
½ cup chopped Apples
¾ cup chopped Walnuts
Mix Self Rising Flour, Flour, Cinnamon, Eggs, and Oil.
In a saucepan heat Water, Brown Sugar, Raisins, Chopped Apples, and Walnuts until Raisins soften, then add to mixture.
Divide mixture equally into two 8-inch grease and floured bread pans.
Sprinkle with Raw Sugar.
Bake in preheated oven
Harvest Time Cranberry Nut Bread
Bake at 325° for 30-35 minutes
Ingredients;
2 cups Self Rising Flour
1 cup granulated Sugar
1 tablespoon ground Cinnamon
½ cup Butter
2 Eggs
1 cup Cranberries, or 1 can whole Cranberry Sauce
½ cup unsweetened Applesauce
1 cup chopped Pecans
Topping;
½ cup Flour
¼ cup granulated Sugar
1 tablespoon ground Cinnamon
¼ cup Butter
Using a fork, process Self Rising Flour, Sugar, Cinnamon, and Butter until crumbly.
Lightly mix in Cranberries, Applesauce, and Pecans.
Divide mixture into two 8-inch greased and floured bread pans.
Using a fork, process Topping ingredients until crumbly. Sprinkle generously over bread batter.
Bake in preheated oven.
“Thar She Blows” Prune Küchen
Bake at 350° for 15 minutes, then again for 30 minutes.
Ingredients;
Crust;
1 cup Flour
2 tablespoons granulated Sugar
¼ teaspoon Salt
½ cup softened Butter
Filling;
2 cups pitted Prunes
½ cup granulated Sugar
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
2 Egg Yolks
1 cup Sour Cream
Combine Crust Ingredients into pastry. Place pasty dough into greased Spring Pan. Pat evenly one inch up sides and entire bottom to make crust.
Place Prunes on Pastry Crust.
Sprinkle with Cinnamon and Sugar.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Lightly beat Egg Yolks and mix with Sour Cream.
Pour Over Prunes
Bake for 30 minutes.
Cool.
Never Ending “Keeping Room” Chocolate Chip Cookies
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes
Ingredients;

Sorry, the other ingredients are part of the Seven Sea Street Inn “Secret Recipe”.
Place 12 frozen gourmet cookie dough pieces on cooking sprayed cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven.
Cool on cookie sheet, then place in refrigerator to chill.
Once chilled the cookies can be removed from cookie sheet without distorting shape or cracking cookies.
Nantucket Baked Belgian Whaler’s Waffles
Ingredients;
1 cup All Purpose Flour
1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
4 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/3 cup melted Butter
2 Eggs whisked
2 tablespoons granulated Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 cup whole Milk
In a large bowl, cream together Eggs, Sugar, and Vanilla extract.
Stir in melted Butter and Milk.
Add White Flour, Wheat Flour, Salt, and Baking Powder.
Mix until thick and lumpy. Do not over mix. Bake with your favorite waffle iron.

Seven Sea Street Bananas and Cream
Ingredients;
1 cup ½ & ½ or Light Cream
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 tablespoon ground Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground Nutmeg
2 sliced Bananas
Combine ½ & ½, Vanilla X, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg.
Slice Bananas into ¼ inch circles and add to mixture.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate overnight.
