Beat the Winter Blues with Weekend Getaway to Nantucket

After the excitement of the holidays are over and the winter dreariness sets in, the season can definitely take a toll on your mood! We encourage you to beat the winter blues with a weekend getaway to Nantucket! In addition to eating well, exercising and getting adequate sleep, a change of scenery might be just the ticket to bringing a spring back into your step before that season arrives.

We may be a bit biased having an inn on the island, but we think Nantucket is pretty awesome in the winter! The sun and sand beckon travelers here during the summer months, making our area a summer vacation destination. But the tiny island offers other charms when the “shoulder season” arrives. For one, during the winter, you pretty much get Nantucket all to yourself! The droves of tourists are long gone and even though there might be a chill in the air it’s about 10 degrees warmer than the mainland
